Payment Policy
We make every effort to ensure that all fees are fair; you are encouraged to discuss charges before services are rendered. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Care Credit. It is the policy of this hospital that all fees are due at the time of service. In the event that your pet needs extended hospital care, a deposit will be required at the time of admission to the hospital.
We are now accepting Care Credit
Care Credit is similar to other credit cards that you can use at veterinary or health care facilities that accept it. The difference between Care Credit and other major credit card companies is they offer various No Interest plans as long as you pay the required minimum monthly payment, and pay in full by the end of the financing terms.
Every health care facility may offer different plans. We are offering two of their plans. For bills over $200, we offer no interest if paid within 6 months or for bills over $1000 we offer a 24 month fixed interest plan. For more information or to apply for Care Credit please visit their website www.carecredit.com
Another option to consider is pet insurance. Owners can purchase pet insurance to help manage the cost of their pet's annual health care and for protection if their pet becomes sick or injured. Your pet insurance company will not provide payments directly to River Ridge Animal Hospital. Rather, you will be required to pay in full at the time of your visit and then submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement. We will be happy to assist you in completing your claim form. One of the companies available is Nationwide Pet Insurance. Call 866-838-7387 or visit www.petinsurance.com. Pet insurance works well with Care Credit. You pay for visit with Care Credit, submit your insurance claim and then you can pay for Care Credit with your insurance reimbursement.
